Neuro-Inclusive Support

Standard nutrition advice often overlooks the realities of neurodiverse experiences. I provide practical and flexible nutrition support that considers executive function challenges, sensory preferences, decreased interoceptive awareness, and fluctuations in daily energy, so strategies feel realistic and doable.

Aarohi Patel MHSc, RD, CDE

I am a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology and Food and Nutrition, and a Master of Health Science (MHSc). I am also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and have completed the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in Sports Nutrition.

About Aarohi

In Canada, a Registered Dietitian (RD) is a regulated health professional who provides evidence based nutrition care. Dietitians are licensed and overseen by a provincial regulatory college, similar to pharmacists, nurses, and physicians, which ensures safe, ethical, and accountable practice. To earn the RD credential, dietitians must complete an accredited university degree, more than 1,250 hours of supervised practicum training, and pass the national Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination (CDRE). Unlike the title “nutritionist,” which is only protected in some provinces, “dietitian” is a legally protected title across Canada.

A Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is a regulated health professional such as a nurse, pharmacist, or dietitian who has advanced training and experience in diabetes care and education. In Canada, becoming a CDE requires completing at least 800 hours of practice supporting people with diabetes and passing the national CDE exam. To maintain the credential, CDEs must complete professional development and re-certify by writing the exam every five years, ensuring their knowledge and practice stay current.
